# downstream_unavailable

> HTTP 502 — an FMG platform service behind Connect is unavailable.

FMG Connect could not complete the request because a platform service it
depends on was unavailable, overloaded, or returned a response Connect could
not interpret.

**Retryable.** This is transient. Retry with exponential backoff and jitter.
If it persists for more than a few minutes, contact FMG support with the
`traceId`.
