# internal_error

> HTTP 500 — an unexpected failure inside FMG Connect.

Something failed inside FMG Connect that was not anticipated. The `detail`
field is intentionally generic; the `traceId` is what identifies the failure.

**Retryable.** Retry once with backoff. If the error repeats, stop and
contact FMG support with the `traceId` and the request you sent (minus any
secrets).
